Starting for the Asheville Tourist, Tyler Matzek(0-0, 3.00). Baseball America Prospect Handbook(2010) ranks Matzek as the number 1 prospect in the entire Colorado Rockies organization. According to Baseball America, the lefty Matzek, passed up a scholarship to play at Oregon in order to receive a club-record $3.9 million bonus.
